Speak to the Jade Gate Pass Wayfarer (opens in a new tab), then travel southeast to the fortress gate. Interact with the white beam and insist on entering. Follow the road into the arena; the first Grand Protector of Anxi encounter returns you outside whether you win or lose.

Search the dry well by the fortress gate; the building and campfire at Peaceward Camp to the north; the main roof at Howling Sand Outpost; the broken tree west of Lost Crossing; and the ground near Squarewall Hold Ruins Boundary Stone (opens in a new tab). Return to the white beam with all five.

Enter again and touch the military flag to reach Wraithridge Pass. Follow the soldier to the table, write the family letter and give it to Yuan Ping'an. When the explosion interrupts your trip upstairs, use Cloud Steps across the suspended debris to reach the flag. Touch the next flag along the road.

Use Cosmic Reversal to form the rooftop bridge. Shoot the flying siege monsters with its ballista until a fireball destroys it. Restore platforms to descend to the second ballista and defeat the next wave. Restore the route down to the fortress wall.

Help the soldiers defeat seven Utuk Raptors, then speak with the wounded soldier. After time freezes, use Cloud Steps across the suspended objects to the flag. Activate Hero's Tomb on the next road and plant the flags at the highlighted positions.

Guo Xin

Guo Xin summons soldiers during his first phase. Parrying their attacks also drains his Qi. His second form, Iron-Blooded Prince, adds lightning and bow attacks, including at close range. Finish both phases and speak with Guo Xin afterward.

Speak with the City Guard who opened the fortress gate and tell him you are traveling to Liangzhou. Receive the handmade Imperial Scepter, then follow the road out of the city.
