Map & Fast Travel
New regions appear dark until you collect their maps from a Wayfarer. Boundary Stones are fast-travel points: activate each one when you reach it so you can teleport back.
Controls & Menu
Press M, then select the name of a dark region to open its information.
Default controls. Changed your layout? Use Settings → Keyboard & Mouse → Button Settings.Find the Wayfarer’s Campfire
Select the dark region and read its Wayfarer hint. Find the campfire symbol, place a marker and travel to it.
- Wayfarer
The campfire symbol identifies the traveler who provides the regional map.
Ask for the Regional Map
Speak with the Wayfarer in Solo Mode and finish the map dialogue. Each Wayfarer reveals their own region; select any remaining dark region for its next hint.
Choose a Boundary Stone for Fast Travel
Select an unlocked stone near your objective. Its panel says Landmark - Teleport, with Teleport at the bottom right. Use Space on PC or the displayed controller prompt, then follow the remaining route on foot.
- Boundary Stone
A small standing stone with swords beside it and a white ribbon-like effect.
Activate New Stones When You Arrive
Approach the stone until its interaction prompt appears, then activate it to unlock that destination. Use R2 on PS5 or the displayed prompt on PC.
Standing beside an activated Boundary Stone also refills carried medicine from your stock. If the count stays unchanged, check your carried limit and Owned stock in Quick Use → Medicine.
What’s Stopping You?
There Is No Wayfarer Symbol
Select the dark region’s name and read its information. Follow the Wayfarer hint if shown. If the panel names a story requirement instead, complete that requirement to gain access to the area.
Talking to the Wayfarer Did Not Reveal the Region
Check that you are in Solo Mode. Talk again and finish the map dialogue. If the remaining dark area has a different name, open that region’s hint to locate its Wayfarer.
