Follow the five story diamonds around the wreckage. Approach each marked component and choose Pick Up (F on the PC layout). Each collected part receives a check mark in the task list.

The wings are long flat wooden panels lying in the grass beside a curved wreck. The body is the large rolling wooden barrel near the small mechanical enemies. For the tail feathers, look for the rectangular wooden door leaning by the riverbank. Collect the other marked head and feather component from the nearby wreckage as well. Return to Feng once all five lines are checked.

Return to Feng at the story diamond beside the water. Interact at the marked assembly point and finish the construction sequence. The completed Wooden Chicken will be beside Feng, ready to board.
